Calculate
Your BMI:
The National Heart, Lung
and Blood Institute proposes that Body Mass Index be
used in assessing weight. The body mass index is simple.
It describes your weight relative to your height and
can be applied to both men and women. It is an estimate
of your total body fat. The BMI score means the following:
Underweight: Below
18.5
Normal: 18.5-24.9
Overweight: 25-29.9
Obesity: 30-39.9
Morbid Obesity: 40 and above |
|
If you are overweight, obese or morbidly obese, your
next step should be to attend one of our evening
information sessions held every third Thursday
of each month or simply make an appointment.
