Henry
Paul, Jr., M.D.,
FACS is currently Assistant Professor and Chief of the
Division of Plastic Surgery at Howard University College
of Medicine. He is Co-director of the Howard University
Hospital Combined Hand Surgery Service (huhsurgery.com).
He is board certified
in Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society
of Plastic Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College
of Surgeons.
Dr. Paul received his
Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California,
Irvine. He graduated with honors from Howard University
College of Medicine and was subsequently fully trained
in General Surgery at Howard. Dr. Paul completed his
Hand Surgery fellowship at Hartford Hospital / University
of Connecticut prior to his Plastic Surgery residency
at Georgetown University Medical Center.
He was on staff as a Clinical
Surgical Instructor and Clinical Assistant Professor
at Washington University in St. Louis and Texas Tech
University in El Paso respectively. Throughout his 15
year career he has trained hundreds of resident physicians,
medical and nursing students, and surgical technicians.
With a rich multi-regional
practice exposure in D.C., St. Louis and El Paso, Dr.
Paul has safely served thousands of patients with a wide
variety of plastic and hand surgery problems.
In addition to experience
in a wide array of reconstructive procedures in hand
and plastic surgery, Dr. Paul also specializes in cosmetic
services and procedures.
